2009 Corvette Z06 Headers High Performance Oil Pump

Pump It Up
Katech Performance has introduced a new high-performance oil pump that directly replaces the production pump found in the LS7 small-block. It comes hand assembled, blueprinted, serialized, and pre-lubricated. Other exclusive features include a blue-anodized front cover that's laser etched with the Katech Performance logo. For more details, point your browser to www.katechengines.com.

Keep On Rocking
Mast Motorsports has released a new line of Black Label roller rocker arms for GM Gen IV LS engines. These units feature a 1.7 ratio, an ultra-lightweight anodized-aluminum design for quicker acceleration, and superior strength for high-performance and racing applications. They bolt on with no modifications required and fit all GM LS3/L76/L92/LA cylinder heads with offset intake rocker arms. For more information, visit them on the Web at www.mastmotorsports.com.

Head Of Its Class
Airflow Research's (AFR) new 235cc 23-degree SBC Eliminator head is the largest offering in the company's popular Eliminator series. These heads feature made-in-the-USA T-356 aluminum construction, 100 percent CNC porting, 2.125/1.600 valves, and various spring choices to accommodate lifts of up to 0.750 inch. They're said to flow 335/260 cfm at 0.750-inch lift, rivaling some of the older raised-runner, 18-degree head designs. For more information, go to www.airflowresearch.com.

4-2-1 . . . Blast Off
SLP now offers 4-2-1 long-tube headers for the '06-'09 Corvette Z06. These headers feature equal-length, 1 3/4-inch primaries; two 2 1/2-inch secondaries; one 3-inch, high-flow collector; and come with a 3-inch crossover pipe. They're constructed of ceramic-coated 409 stainless steel, while the pipes are made from 304 stainless. SLP says the entire package can be installed without removing any of the dry-sump oil lines or the starter. All clamps, hardware, gaskets, and instructions are included, and the system is backed by a limited lifetime warranty. Check out www.slponline.com for more info.

Say Cheese
Four Door Media has added a C6 Z06 Corvette to its Road Mice line of car-shaped wireless computer mice. This high-performance mouse uses the latest radio-frequency and optical technology and features 800-dpi resolution for enhanced precision. Functioning headlights, smooth lines, and rich coloring give the Z06 mouse a realistic look and feel, all in the palm of your hand. It's compatible with both PC and Mac and available in multiple colors. For more information, visit www.roadmice.com.

Chip Surgery
Dr. ColorChip Corporation's paint-chip-repair kit uses a proprietary process to fix anywhere from a few to a few thousand chips in a matter of minutes, with professional, permanent results. Here's how it works: Paint is dabbed on the chip and smeared flat across it with the thumb, allowing it to dry very quickly. The SealAct blending solution is then applied to a folded rag or soft cloth and used to lightly blend the repair, removing all excess paint from the area. The result is a clean repair with no paint blobs. Go to www.drcolorchip.com for more info.
